2018 Goals & Changes
Thank you for making 2017 such an exciting year at Aurochs Brewing Company. The past year we have brewed many new styles of beer, released 12oz and 22oz bottles, grown our team and added to a still growing list of bars, restaurants and retail locations where you can purchase Aurochs beer. We have also had an amazing year connecting with our customers at events, out in the community and in our tasting room. We appreciate all of the love and support from you, our bold beer drinkers, as we try to change the way the world experiences gluten free beer.
With your continued support, 2018 is setting up to be even more exciting - highlighted by more growth and some necessary changes. We are doubling our production of fresh, delicious, naturally gluten free beer and focusing our efforts on expanding our distribution to bring our beer to you, wherever you may be.
To accommodate our future growth, starting in January, our tasting room will be open for take out sales only. We will no longer be selling pints for on-site consumption. Our 2018 tasting room hours will be Thursdays and Fridays from 4 PM to 8 PM and Saturdays from noon to 6 PM.
This move is intended to free up the space we need for brewing and bottling bigger batches and allow our staff to focus on bringing Aurochs to new accounts and new markets. Our first new tank, a 14 barrel fermenter, will arrive the first week in January and we have to get busy brewing! Our Pittsburgh customers can now find Aurochs in over 75 bars and bottle shops and we are excited to bring great tasting gluten free beer to more cities in 2018. Don’t worry, we still have lots of fun things in store for our Pittsburgh customers, we’ll be announcing new brewery tours, beer dinners and happy hour events in the new year.
